On top of you are international traveler, you can't use the phone in Europe .... till it gets unlocked.
Also you can enter upgrade checkout flow from the Costco links. You have to click around on the top of the webpage on anything that looks like an ATT wireless symbol to get redirected to ATT log-in page, and after you log in, it will recognize your plan, and add the new iPhone as an upgrade instead of a new line.

Might be better to buy a cheaper samsung phone to trade in and sell the ip13 pro somewhere else.
Samsung s20 can be bought for $160 on ebay and trade in for 800
The best math right now is trade in to apple, amortize your phones costs at 0% apr for 24 months and get visible plus or if you don't use more then 35gb a month - get metro byod unlimited promotion at $25/mo
The tmobile plans for the $1000 credit are Verizon level prices which is hugely disappointing but they need to make back the costs of apples meaningful price hikes too, and math is still far better then Verizon or ATT deals
