The fine print says minimum qualified plan is 75/mo. That's where they get you with these "free deals" - locking you in at high monthly rate for 3 yrs.

Quick math assuming you are ok with Visible/Mint at $30/mo - overpaying by $45/mo for 36=$1620, that's what you are paying for the "free iphone".

If you live in an area which has good coverage then better buy an unlocked phone and get a carrier of your choice than getting robbed by these guys for 36 months.
I have an unlocked phone & pay $20 per month for service. Can't be happier.

1000% agree. Makes me mad because back in the day I'd avoid it by just buying a new phone and slapping my old sim in.. no fees. But now you have to involve them with the esim garbage.
iPhone allows you to transfer eSIMs between phones. I believe this still avoids an activation fee if you're not doing an installment plan and bill credits.

In for 3 15 Max Pro's

$105 tax to start - will trade in in 3 Iphone 12 Max

36 month lease - Bill $133 currently (With Teacher Plan) a month for 4 lines unlimited basic prior to upgrade and will remain unchanged minus newly upgraded phone costs. We are happy with AT&T where we are at in California.

Total additional cost for the 3 upgrades: $16.68 / mo + $315 in tax - We then received Bill credit for $150(5X3X10 months) - Free activation - and $300 in Costco Gift Cards which is like cash for us.

Total Cost All in $915.48 for upgrade cost over 36 months with tax - $450 Credits and Gift Cards.

$465.48 for 3 new Iphone 15 Pro Max Phones. In essence $4.31/month per phone which is not too much more than just paying the the tax on the new phone.

After Costco went att specific kiosk route, they allowed the shitty Att reps in store, who can tell full shitload of lies to sign you up. Never give your card or license or sign anything before getting a printout and read the terms.

The ashole rep signed me up for wrong devices with wrong service fee and they dont give a printout and say they can only send purchase agreement. Once I realized he did all shit after taking a printout and read and went back to store. he wont be able to cancel (within 30mins), asked to call customer service and deal it myself. Csr couldnt do anything but asked me to wait to get phones in mail and send it back.

Here I am after 30 days and 2 times an hour call in last two weeks, still not cancelled the lines that were returned on same day and still getting charged for this month too. Reps tells me att will refund but it is al waste of time. Atleast couple years back, the last time when costco employee signed me up for tmobile, he was clear and upfront on any charges. But then T mobile screwed me up.

I went to apple store, changed screen. I will just stick with buying unlocked direct with apple or android and prepaid like visible. say fk off on att/post paid ever.

Just my experience. Ymmv.

I just did my att iPhone upgrade. Login to Costco account -go to electronics - cell phones- AT&T and select your options: new or upgrade and proceed further. It will take you to your AT&T account login and you can select your current device and upgrade to new device of your choice. You will see the Costco offers applied to your order during this process.
Finally you will get email and text to verify your identification (DL). Done!

You do realize you can simply pay off the whole amount if you want right? You don't have to wait the whole 3 years just to pay off the phone by only paying the min amount lol just like any bill you can always pay MORE than just the min
Wrong on so many levels. Sure you can pay them off, but then you forfeit the remaining credit balance.

This is the comment. As long as they are 24 and the other 2 are 36 there is no debate. You should consider the TMO Costco deal. I wouldn't be surprised if TMO moves to 36 soon though.
T-Mobile isn't an option for many of us in rural areas. They just don't have good service out in the country.

This is probably a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway. I currently have 8x iPhone 14 Plus and 8x lines with ATT. I pay $5 a month per phone with 28 months left with $20 a month per line bill credits. I know this is a solid deal ($180 per phone after 36 months) but I would like the 15 Pro Max if possible. Is there any way to upgrade with this current offer?
What is your remaining balance on each phone line?

Anyone doing the t-mobile trade-in upgrade at Costco BM? Are they making you physically bring in all trade-in phones, or are they just now accepting the IMEIs?

Can I cancel my preorder that I did with AT&T and redo the offer with Costco? I did a preorder for phone upgrade with trade-in yesterday morning. I just saw this deal. Any one with experience with cancelling and redoing to order? Any issue?

Eventhou I completely agree with you, you need to consider better priority if you directly with att or tmobile and thats gonna cost you.
