Quick math assuming you are ok with Visible/Mint at $30/mo - overpaying by $45/mo for 36=$1620, that's what you are paying for the "free iphone".
I have an unlocked phone & pay $20 per month for service. Can't be happier.

I tried multiple times online and I don't see the phone discount without the trade-in
I called to ask one of the fees to be removed as I thought Im only paying one fee as per the mumbling employee I talked to and was not given any document explaining the fees clearly. Apparently the "verizon" I went to that charged me activation fee was a vendor (how TF would I know this when everything abt the shop says verizon and so does searching on any map) and the upgrade fee on my bill later on was verizon's and now they are pointing fingers on who I should ask refund.
I had worse experience with mobile companies than car salesmen to be honest. I dont know why they are not covered with UDAP or something when they even check for ur credit to sign up and clearly out to take as much of your money as they can.
Rant Over.
Anyone know what that upgrade might cost me? Should I go ATT or Tmobile?
