Quick math assuming you are ok with Visible/Mint at $30/mo - overpaying by $45/mo for 36=$1620, that's what you are paying for the "free iphone".
I have an unlocked phone & pay $20 per month for service. Can't be happier.

Ok Thanks!
i feel like tmobile wants to get all the simple choice people off so they're not going to give us any upgrade offers anymore
AT&T from Costco gave me a deal to switch. Way too good to pass up on.
I never imagined i can upgrade all 7 lines with new phones for about $200 per months.
So check this out. I have 4 of the old A32 phones. 1 S21. 1 Apple 13, 1 apple S7.
For 200 a month
I ll be upgrading all my A32 to S32 Samsung. You can upgrade to S23 Plus but that's $5 more per phone per month for 3 years.
1 apple 15 pro
1 apple Se 3rd gen. Because the apple S7 are worthless
Plus $100 per phone as Costco gift card. That's $700 because I have 7 phones
Plus they wave the $15 per phone activation fees
This is too good of a deal? All phones upgraded. Is this too good to be true?

if you do the cost analysis, i'm not sure how that's a good deal if cost is your main concern? the $700 is nice but yuo were paying ~50/mo less on tmobile, so you break even after 14 months and then will start paying more on the AT&T plan? or are you saying upgrading the phones for free was also part of the deal?
Also, if you mail in to ATT you need each device in its own box with its own label.

Sounds like cost AND having new devices is what mattered to him. Since T-Mobile would either require an outright purchase of seven devices or bunking to a much more expensive plan, it seems ATT comes out better for their scenario.

And does this mean 36-months "contract" is actually 39months? In order to get all the discounts?
