That's a good deal for me. The last couple of times we've flown internationally we've had longer layovers so opted for lounge access with my AMEX Platinum, but since we are a family of four I had to pay for one entry since my wife is not an AU. I'll grab this card since we travel quite a bit.
I rarely fly Delta. I'm out of DFW so usually fly AA or SWA. I probably will cancel at renewal though. A lot of the benefits (uber credit, saks credit, high end hotel credit, etc.) I only use because they are offered and otherwise wouldn't use Uber or buy from Saks or stay at one of these higher end hotels. Probably canceling the Plat and going long term with Reserve once I'm eligible for the sign up bonus (opened Preferred earlier this year).

Reserve is aight ..been having it for 10 years. $300 travel bonus helps with the card annual fee . Extra point conversion is appealing as well. I mostly use it for lounges and Capital one offers more access as I said. I might finally downgrade my reserve to some no fee tier and use VentureX for travel only
Instantly approved. There is a Capital One lounge in the DFW airport so I'll look forward to checking that out the next time I fly. I actually fly out tomorrow, but guessing I won't be able to use it since I won't have my card by then.
Centurioun lounge has gone to crap. So overcrowded now. And oftentimes long waits to get in. Forget about trying to go to the one in Vegas. There is always a long line...and it's not even a nice lounge!

grats..if capital one is known for something is how slow they are to send the new card out
Best lounges are outside the US..
Is it worth the 395 annual fee? Even the APR is pretty awful.
"
Interest Rates and Interest Charges
Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Purchases and Transfers 21.99%, 25.99% or 28.99%, based on your creditworthiness.
This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate."
Nobody opens a card for a "good" apr other than 0%

Why you even look at the APR, if you have no mean of paying off the balance every month, you should not get this premium card.
Taking into account that you receive a $300 travel credit and 10,000 points annually, you come out even with just those two.
How does 300 credit card work? Is it same as Chase reserve card credit which immediately posts credit for travel expenses like toll, hotel, and airline bookings with any merchant like priceline.....?
Careful with this.
The $300 travel credit may sound impressive, but you have to use it by booking with their third party travel agency.
Anyone who has traveled a lot knows that this is just asking for trouble!
If there are any flight irregularities, you're generally screwed, because the airline basically tells you to GFY and deal with the travel agency where you bought the ticket, and the travel agency reps in who-knows-where are often just not empowered to actually help you rebook.
And for third party hotel bookings, they're a bit less risky, but you also generally forfeit any hotel points and status benefits.
So in the end, friends generally don't let friends book travel with agencies, making this card not that great of a deal unfortunately.
This is not true to my personal experience. When booking through credit card portal, the credit card agent always makes it right for me, Chase or Capital One. Vs other 3rd party like price line. When the prices are the same between direct vs credit card portal, I always book credit card portal because the earning multiple is always higher. When there is an issue with the booking, the portal agent also have all the information needed. You can still call the credit card for assistance if you book direct. but you have to provide all the booking information, more hassle IMO.

15 cards and counting. I am a churner. 820> credit score.
They did to the Venture One but I already booked out some upcoming hotel trips to use the miles I accrued.
