Which one did you chose?
  1. Cox Prepaid Mastercard® Virtual Account
  2. Cox Prepaid Mastercard®
Any of these work at an ATM?
You can use whichever you prefer. The first one, Cox Prepaid Mastercard Virtual Account will deliver to your email in 24-48 hours after completion of the 90-day validation period. The second one, Cox Prepaid Mastercard will arrive to your physical address 4-6 weeks after completion of the 90-day validation period.

Personally I don't see any real reason to go with the second option, unless you REALLY need a physical card for some reason. You'd just be extending the time until you get your promotional card.

Did anyone already submit the reward form? I was planning to wait until the phones were delivered and the lines were activated but we can submit them right away correct?

I just ordered 2x 512 GB pro maxes using this deal.

Both had the $500 promotion attached on the final confirmation page. You have to order each line separately and go through the process. Financed them on 0% for 24 months because why not you're not tied to Cox it's through Citizens bank. Once I added the second phone and went through checkout it dropped my monthly from $45 to $40 a month for each line. Phones have an estimated delivery date of 9/22 (this friday)!

Monthly Service Charges:

$ 81 .86 /mo
Paid directly to Cox after activation

SERVICE CHARGES -
Gig Unlimited - 2 line discount $40.00/mo.
SERVICE CHARGES -
Gig Unlimited - 2 line discount $40.00/mo.
Total est. monthly service taxes and fees * $1.86/mo.

I submitted right away after purchase and it worked. Got an email confirmation with saying I need to wait 90 days of good standing service yada yada. The rep said we only need to submit once per account, regardless of how many phones were purchased, and it will be added up and sent as n number of Mastercards.

Seems fishy.. but I'm just risking it.. haha. Worst case is I sell the 2nd phone and lose ~30-50 bucks haha.

Do you have experience with the Mastercard virtual account?
Is it just as easy to use anywhere as the physical card?

Venmo used to allow to transfer funds from these prepaid cards to Venmo and then you can move the funds to your checking account. I don't know if they still offer that anymore though, need to check…

You can only submit once. I attempted to submit twice incase each rebate needed to be claimed seperately. The first time everything went through fine. The second time it gave me a message saying, "oops it's already been submitted".

Thanks for the tip. I looked it up and it still seems they accept prepaid cards from the major network including Mastercard. This is probably the easiest way to handle using the GC's for me.

This is not true, Cox has a 60 day lock on all purchased devices. Even if you buy it outright it is carrier locked for 60 days.
I am going to keep paying cox sim for 90 days by asking a new number. Do you know if I use the phone for a different carrier sim after 60 days, will I still qualify for 500GC ? I will still pay $15 plan for the next 30 days on the cox sim.

Would the physical or virtual Mastercard make a difference for this?

Did you have to ask for that or did they say it would automatically be applied to your Cox Internet service bill? I have Cox Internet and bought the phone online so I am curious.
we asked for it but were told that we already have a promo price for internet. we could either keep that or get the $15 off. we kept the promo price because it was cheaper overall.
if you don't have a promo price it should automatically lower your bill by $15, if not, just ask them via chat.

I've done both in the past with no issues

Someone earlier, maybe 2-3 pages, said it's not possible. It would need to be processed as a return most likely with a restocking fee.

Yes, I can confirm. I do have a Cox Mobile and purchased a device couple of months ago (bought outright). I just unlocked after 60 days. Unless Cox is following a different policy for this specific deal, I would assume the device will be locked. Maybe since the device purchased under this deal needs to be active in their network for 90 days to be eligible for the gift card, they might have thought the locking policy isn't necessary. That might be a stretch though.
