Nawh man. Blackstone people griddle year round. LOL. I keep mine in garage then open big door and roll it out to the doorway and cook hibachi, smash burgers, pork chops, tacos, etc in the winter. I also use my smoker in the winter while there's snow on the ground. There's no stopping us griddling people.

That's just a hard cover that lifts off. A hood is attached by hinges. But you can make the cover attached & hindged. There's a YouTube video.

I bought it. Just a few weeks ago Costco had it for $299 and I thought it was a deal then... Picking it up tomorrow from TSC.

I bought this when it was on sale at Walmart last winter. I've cooked so many amazing meals on it. You can cook almost everything at the same time. Think of it as a huge outdoor cast iron skillet. I highly recommend.

After owning one all summer (bought for $197 at Walmart, no cover or hood), I can safely say that I would buy one for full price. It's the best grilling experience I've ever had. We use it to make bacon, eggs, french toast, pancakes, hash browns, smash burgers, normal burgers, fries, steaks, fajitas, tortillas, corn on the cob, cheesesteaks...

About the only thing I haven't tried yet is chicken wings and fried rice. 11/10.
