Tractor Supply is $16

I think the same company that makes Ball makes other regional brands as well. Same specs, just different branding. So you might find another brand at a better price in other parts of the country.

I had a real hard time finding half gallon jars last canning season. Almost paid $40 for a 6 pack from a 3rd party seller. This is the price Walmart usually stocks these jars at when they're the seller but I still thumbed up because it's a good value compared to other merchants and these are in stock. If you need these size jars, they aren't going to get cheaper.

$14.97 is the regular price for quart jars and $13.97 is the regular Walmart price for the six pack of 64 ounce Ball canning jars

EDIT to add: if you don't care about the Ball name and don't need a dozen, DollarTree has canning jars $1.25 each. My Ball lids fit them.

Literally just bought 32oz 12 pack wide mouth for 14.39 at Target. The order online price is 17.99, but in store is cheaper.

I wish I can find tall boys somewhere.. those are the best jars for mycology imo.

MSRP is way off on Walmart website.
If anyone is going to use the 24oz jars for canning... just remember that most of the recipe times are for 16oz or 32oz. When using 24oz always go with the 32oz time if there's not one specified.

Jars got some damned expensive- what I've been doing is getting spaghetti sauce on sale that comes in Mason or Atlas jars. I can usually get it for $1-$1.50. Just the sauce and reuse the jar Big Grin
