Google Fi !! Where are you ?
I'm tired of the S22 U size, and looking to going back to the regular s23 size, but trade in values are bad overthere.

Good deal but the real killer is the freaking tax on full amounts. My total tax with s9u shipping to CA is $179!
Don't they reduce the purchase price by 900 bucks? I know that's what they do in Best buy when you do trade in

I traded in my 256GB S22U ($750 trade-in value) for 256GB S23U last month with Samsung. Not too much difference. Smaller RAM, better battery life and a fresh warranty. Also, s23U should have better trade-in value next year for S24U....
What do you mean by smaller RAM?
Don't both have 8 gig?

Wish they boosted the trade-in values towards the regular S23. I feel like the best deal is when you can pre-order it and then Samsung pretends it doesn't exist for the rest of the year.
never will happen - doesnt make sense. They want the current generation to be USED until next or else it looks bad on their part.

I tried to trade in my S22 ultra and s8 tab ultra for the s23 ultra and s9 tab ultra and it's $561 total with tax which I think is an awesome deal

However if u can wait a little longer the s24 ultra will come out this coming February and might get a better deal with a newer device

Snapdragon gen 1 to gen 2 for me is a big upgrade because of the efficiency and battery upgrades

S22 ultra 256GB has 12GB ram.
S23 ultra 256GB has 8GB ram.
S23 ultra 512GbB has 12GB ram.

His earlier trade in (without the ram upgrade) downsized ram. This deal matches ram with bigger storage. Honestly, I think this deal is great for someone who has s22 ultra 128gb. Mine is s22 ultra 256gb so I am still on the fence, considering mine still runs like new, look like new and there is no much difference between 22/23.

Not in California. Standard answer to a lot of puzzling questions, just so you know.

I would have done this if Samsung had offered it earlier. Too late, I'm waiting for Pixel 8 Pro trade-in now.

Interesting. I was pissed when I had to pay taxes on original price minus trade-in value when the phone was discounted to $500 from $1,100. But would they have in California is a rip off.

Auto sales with tradin the same way? Just curious
