Latest scam nowadays even with sealed phones on FB, craigslist or Offerup is where folks sell real phones that are not blacklisted and with clean IMEIs. Problem is a few months down the road the phone gets remotely locked by Samsung because these sellers never sent in their trade in phones as originally promised and the original form of payment they used is conveniently no longer working. At this point, there's no recourse for the buyers that are stuck with just paper weights.

This is becoming so prevalent and widespread that I believe it won't be long before Samsung revamps their trade in policy subsequently addressing this issue and effing it up for the rest of us..

S22 ultra 256GB has 12GB ram.
S23 ultra 256GB has 8GB ram.
S23 ultra 512GbB has 12GB ram.

His earlier trade in (without the ram upgrade) downsized ram. This deal matches ram with bigger storage. Honestly, I think this deal is great for someone who has s22 ultra 128gb. Mine is s22 ultra 256gb so I am still on the fence, considering mine still runs like new, look like new and there is no much difference between 22/23.

No point in doing this if you can wait until black Friday. It'll be a better deal.

Noticed people talking about the s9 ultra for $4 (with trade in). So I canceled and my new order looks like this:

+$1139 23 ultra
+$250 broken s22 ultra
+$4 galaxy s9 ultra (traded in daughters s8 ultra 128gb)
-$750 trade in broken s22 ultra
-$60 cash back site

Considering I only paid about $200 for the s8 ultra (thanks slickdeals), this went from an OK deal to an insane deal. Total cost around $583 before taxes. Thanks everyone!

For anyone trading in a S8 ultra, in my experience you do not need to include the stylus with the S series tablet trade in (traded in s7 tablet in th past without stylus, accepted no issues)

what is the sequence to try?
I did:
1) open s23u page: order s23ultra
-with s22ultra trade-in
-on addon page: add watch 6 lte $129 (choose band), add buds2 pro $49
-then it will lead to checkout page.
2) open another tab for s9ultra:order s9ultra
-with s8ultra trade-in
-skip addon page
-then it will lead to check out page with s23ultra waiting there.

i see $285 for s23ultra and $231 for s9ultra.

what should I change in the order sequence?
I had to add the s9 ultra first, and then the s23 ultra.

I have S22U, my wife has S23U, both are 512GB version.. There is virtually no difference in our own experiences, other than 300x zoom on hers vs 100x on mine.
I am not going to bother with upgrade even for $300.

Any deals for a S9 Ultra Keyboard/case? I received the S8 Ultra keyboard free from Samsung, but I don't want to spend $300 on the S9 Utra keyboard this year. Debating the $4 upgrade to the s9 Ultra.

I am going to wait for the Black Friday sale. I think it was about $100 to upgrade from S21 Ultra to S22 Ultra last year.

i had a 2 year old tab s7+ which i traded for s9 ultra 512 GB and s22 ultra which i traded for s23 ultra 512 GB. For both, the total amount came to $720 ( almost $2000 savings) . The trade in deals are just crazy.
