100% Prestige. Read the headstock and what is written above the headstock plus that guitar was my 1st prestige. . Some really awesome deals like this on. I douibt I've seen it lower than this ever

The ones I've looked at are restock items. Also the schecter svss that is on sale has a bogus 1k msrp…even the sustainiac version has a lower msrp than that (sea foam green).

I wouldn't put too much stock into what the MSRP says. That number comes from Schecter's website [schecterguitars.com] and they always strike out that "price". Just compare with Sweetwater instead.

Re on restock items: The deal has some notes but it's likely you'll get BNIB. You can just call them if you want to know about the condition as well.

Hey!!! Sam Ash is on my $&%# list right now from the last sale…Beware. Ordered and paid for a used Fender Ultra Jazz bass. Screaming deal. Got my package a few days later and opened up a fret less P bass - definitely not what I ordered.

Ok, mistakes happen. I call back right away to let them know and they seemed more concerned about getting the PBass back instead of me getting screwed. However, I sent the PBass back within the hour so I could get the correct guitar.

Flash forward 2 weeks…no word on the JBass after reassurances from the guy handling my case. I did get a notification of refund the other day (even though I certainly did not request one). As of today - 2 weeks after I ordered- I have no guitar and am still out my $$. Boo Sam Ash👎👎!

That sucks, sorry to hear dude. I've never personally bought anything used from Sam Ash so I can't really comment on it (most of my used stuff is from GC or smaller shops), but I've had a good experience thus far with buying anything from them new/clearance/restock online.

With used stuff it's like Guitar Center, some locations just suck but others will set you up solid. I always ask for pictures before buying just to guarantee they aren't sending me something bogus.

Btw, if any bass players are looking for a Katana 210, there's a $50 rebate available in September. So $599 x 15% off = $509 - $50 rebate = $460 before tax. Just got one and I think I'll keep it (but don't get me started on it's Bluetooth)

NP! Good heads up, found the rebate [boss.info] and seems pretty neat. Katanas are good amps.

My main bass amp right now is a Ampeg RB112 I nabbed for $350 off Musician's Friend (price drop + call-in deal). Wish Ampegs went on sale more often, but they're too good.

You can also get a new Rickenbacker 330 Fireglow for $1360 before tax, which is a ridiculous deal. $1487 for a Ric 4003s bass too. Both are backordered but would be a score if they actually ship (but refer to my original comment)
