Antec Fusion (5 pack) is $40 for the white. It has more CFM and lower dB than this deal if you are looking for that.

Thanks for posting this OP Smilie

I do realize that manufacturing defects can creep into anything and you're always going to have a few "bad apples" if you produce things in mass quantities.. and there are a ton of positive amazon reviews so between that and the low price I would argue grabbing these is a no brainer if you're doing a new PC build and it suits your needs and aesthetics Smilie

I do look over the negative reviews on amazon as well as the positive and I did notice two reviewers complaining about how after enough time in use the fans would have problems and antec customer support basically shrugged their shoulders and said " Oh well " .. though as one of the reviewers who complained pointed out given the low price of the fans might as well just buy another pack and keep them in reserve as needed.

(I do remember my corsair PC case fan having a burning smell coming from it, luckily within the 2 year warranty, and corsair was great about shipping out a replacement fan free of charge and sending me a UPS label to cover the cost to mail the defective one back to them .. of course it's not good to be down one PC case fan not blowing air out of the PC in the meantime Smilie so I ended up ordering a replacement case fan anyways before mailing the defective fan back to them, resulting in the extra case fan corsair mailed out to me sitting in the closet as a backup when and if need be .. I'm guessing you'd pay more for a corsair brand fan though, I could be wrong Smilie )

Pretty good in terms of pricing. roughly 10 bucks per argb fans. 43cfms is decent, I would of jumped on this if it had 56-63+ cfm.

That stinks to hear at antec's support. One of my first cases was an antec 300 and I accidently broke one of the fan blades. At the time 140mm fans were impossible to find so I emailed them and asked if I could buy a new one from them. They sent me a replacement for free even though I told them it was 100% my fault.

Been using them since a couple of years. No issues but they are kinda loud. If you don't mind fan noise, go for it! Also, solid customer service if you need replacement.

Thanks! What's the difference between the two?

Edit: fusion has rgb only on the rim, prizm covers the whole fan.

I had the opposite experience from the first guy, I bought a pc case recently, the Performance 1FT.

It recommended an app that shows cpu and gpu temps. It wasn't working right, they tried to help me troubleshoot. It turns out their default is detecting my AGPU and there was no option to change that. I told CS what I found and the tech said he will notify the devs and thanked me.

They were very responsive, 2 months later they added the option to select GPUs. A++ service for me. I have never had any actual change when providing feedback about anything to anyone.

4 pin is needed for fan speed control. Given that these are 3 pin, they would be running at full speed with no way to adjust with a controller, hence the noise.

Apologies for my post everyone and thanks for everyone saying otherwise as far as their good experiences with antec support , helps as far as my spread of misinformation here my apologies Stick Out Tongue .. maybe the two amazon reviewers just had bad luck and got misinformed/unaware customer service agents? (has been known to happen)

This is super helpful thank you Smilie ... I was wondering.. do you have crystaldisk or some other temp monitoring software on your PC ? Not doubting you by any means Smilie I was just wondering what the temps were for say your CPU, video card , any m2 or other hard drives? I totally get that the size of the PC case and how many fans you have installed can make a difference too (I'm guessing you have all 5 of these fans installed?) .. still if you had the info handy it would help nervous people like me who are on the fence about this Smilie

It appears you're wrong on this one. The controller appears to control the pwm:
Quote :
This kit uses 1 PWM fan header and 1 aRGB header (three pin header) to power and control the included control board. The fans are plugged into the 5 available PWM and aRGB ports on the controller. You can daisy chain the fans aRGB wires but do not daisy chain the PWM wires. The controller is powered by a single SATA power cable from your PSU and has lighting presets built into it incase your motherboard doesnt support aRGB controlling.
