I heard that this gpu can't run the new odessey 57 inch monitor? Can anyone explain?
It can run it but it can't max it out. It's twice as many pixels as a normal 4k monitor and has a max refresh of 240Hz. The 4090 depending in game and setting does 4k are 50 to 90 fps so thus monitor is going to cut fps down way below that

Seems I'm not the only one having the issue with shipping dates changing. I went with one of the alternate pre-built models (still Legion 7i) that had only a few day estimated shipping time, but now my estimated arrival date has slipped from this Friday the 29th, to late next week on the 4th of October instead. I just really hope this isn't a trend that they're pushing everything back.

Got it, I have neither, but I was thinking of upgrading my PC (currently at RTX3060) and upgrading to the new odessey monitor. Should I get a computer with the RTX4090 or an AMD GPU that can "max" it.

There is no gpu that can come close to max it in modern AAA games. The 4090 is the strongest gpu in almost any game but after look8ng into it more the 4090 can run it at full resolution and refresh speed, it has some kind of limitation. I would hold off from getting that monitor for a gpu generation regardless of it being nvidia or AMD. Just my opinion though.

Has anyone that purchased on 9/13 or 9/14 (whenever this deal started) actually had their order ship?
Ordered on 9/13 still has my delivery date as 9/15 as I paid for next day shipping. Still waiting to be shipped……

Got it thanks. I'm so surprised by the compatibility!

Fyi for anyone else, from a comment:
"This product has a proprietary motherboard that is incompatible with high speed ram. What's really unacceptable is that it is advertised and shipped with 5600 Mhz ram, but the product actually does not even support the ram that it's shipped with. This is obviously not acceptable and feels dishonest. You simply cannot use high speed ram with this product which is insane for a $3000 computer. As things stand, it seems you will never be able to upgrade to highspeed ram for the life of the product. The BIOS is proprietary and extremely limited. Some of the supplied drivers from the Lenovo website actually cause more harm than good. Some of the drivers/software on the download page are recycled from other Lenovo products and this is very evident because when you download and run the drivers you will get an error message."

Everything else I've found is $1000+ more. Guess I'll keep waiting.

Comment is ignorance, ddr5 drops speed when 4 sticks are used, this is normal. Not having xmp is not great but on the other hand how much performance is left on the table is debatable, what isn't considered is stability, gamer stability and rock stable for weeks if not months of on time is another question because xmp is really just overclocked ram, unsupported and based on cpu silicon lottery.

Did anyone get cash back from the normal site to work? When I submitted a support request they told me that using the coupon code BENGEXTRA6 nullified the cash back. They said only coupons availabe on their website were usable and any other ones would result in disqualification. I am positive I have used other posted codes from here and gotten the cash back so that doesn't really make sense to me.

Yeah, what's up with BENGEXTRA6? It's been promoted in every Lenovo deal, yet cash back is being denied! Even I am in the same boat. By the way, I found BENGEXTRA6 code listed on the cash back Canada's site and perhaps that's why they are denying USA purchases? Was anyone able to get cash back with this code applied?

There's some rumblings on other PC forums that Lenovo does this. They drop a big deal on a high cost item at the end of the quarter to "bolster sales" with lots of orders and then cancel everything after the quarter is done citing parts shortages or pricing error. They move up your ship date so you don't cancel them before the quarter ends. They give out "recompense discounts" to make up for the delay knowing full well they are going to refund the entire order. I hope that's not the case.

In that way make a class action law sue and we all need to get this PC for sure. If they will do that it is scam.

Delayed order by several weeks and then unceremoniously cancelled
I placed the order on 17/06/2023 with an estimated shipping of less than 10 business days.
An email advising that the shipment has been delayed to 14/07/2023 was sent to me on 27/06/2023. I checked the order status some days later and found that the shipment date had been changed to 20/07/2023. Not happy about the change of date, I emailed Lenovo to check how accurate this was. My current laptop has a failing display and I was concerned that it could abruptly stop working. I was advised that this date is accurate and that I should expect to receive my computer on 28/07/2023.
On 18/07/2023 I received an email stating that my order has been cancelled due to Lenovo not being able to fulfil it. So basically, I've waited a month to be told that I will not be receiving the laptop that I have ordered.
On looking into this further, I found out that due to the delay the payment provider, Amazon Pay, declined the payment. Apparently, their systems did not expect a payment to take a month to complete. Had yourselves attempted to contact me before cancelling the order, I could have reattempted this. Apparently, Lenovo now have a laptop somewhere built for me but due to delays and suboptimal processes I cannot pay for and receive it. I'm no expert but highly doubt that building hardware and then not allowing customers to pay for & receive it is not good for business.
I have purchased numerous Lenovo computers. I currently own an old ThinkPad X61 and recommend your products to people who want a no nonsense laptop with a good keyboard. Unfortunately, after this experience I will need to reconsider as waiting a month for your order to be simply cancelled is just not good enough."

If we end up like this, please make a law sue, peroid.

I was supposed to receive an order update 24-48 next business hours (called Friday) . It's now well passed 48 hours, no update. My delivery date is also long since passed yet still not even shipped. As of now my order date is weeks off, CS said they'd get back to me with updated shipping info and have not.. Lenovo is full of shit and I'm fully convinced no one is getting any of these. They're stringing people along. I also used Amazon Pay and it seems using that with shipping delays cancels the order. So they can't figure out shipping, or payments. Ya Lenovo is a joke.
