It did? Because I watched it and saw the following:

- Only air intake is the cpu radiator mounted in the front pulling air in and preheating it before it hit the gpu

- Much higher than average case temps

- Cooking the 4090, resulting in one of the highest 4090 temps

- Bios won't allow four sticks of ram to run at 5600, only 4000

Not making the radiator an exhaust up top and not having all 4 sticks be able to get to 5600 made this a definite no for me. Its a terrible design.

It is a Lenovo motherboard but it is also a standard ATX design.

I tried to make the closest apples to apples comparison with PCPP and selected the cheapest components. This prebuilt is still cheaper (not by much if you exclude the OS, although I did leave fans out so there's a few bucks more that would be required if you are doing a complete build):

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tz2HBL

With this you get a single device to return/RMA if something fails as opposed to sending individual parts back. I felt the trade off with the proprietary MB and GPU was worth it... Just my opinion/rationalization of my own purchase.

Fyi for anyone else, from a comment:
"This product has a proprietary motherboard that is incompatible with high speed ram. What's really unacceptable is that it is advertised and shipped with 5600 Mhz ram, but the product actually does not even support the ram that it's shipped with. This is obviously not acceptable and feels dishonest. You simply cannot use high speed ram with this product which is insane for a $3000 computer. As things stand, it seems you will never be able to upgrade to highspeed ram for the life of the product. The BIOS is proprietary and extremely limited. Some of the supplied drivers from the Lenovo website actually cause more harm than good. Some of the drivers/software on the download page are recycled from other Lenovo products and this is very evident because when you download and run the drivers you will get an error message."

Everything else I've found is $1000+ more. Guess I'll keep waiting.

what you guys get for timespy? I got 30500 something, the gpu score is definately a lot better than dell alienware r15 4090 and this motherboard is good. I just added two new SSD to it, very easy don't need to unmount GPU. the case real glass window I think.
35426 is my best run, ran it 3 times so far. My gpu hit 38,969 (hit 38k flat first two times) . CPU with my Own Ram hit 23500. I haven't really tuned my Ram yet but I may just leave it for a while. I'm stable and I get mega frames already. My room is also HOT. AC is 78c but when I'm outside of my room it's definitely cooler in the hallways. So my room is probably 80-81 c. Definitely room for improvement on scores in a better environment. I'm happy with what it's doing. Not like I'm in a 3rd world country

what ram and timing did you use? that's unbelievable? please tell me . I used the original lenovo ram and changed few timing it gets recycling reboot. It is kinda scary. 38,969 is that with your ram? I used origianl ram one get GPU only 35516. THAT'S BIG BOOST... that's unbelievable. This GPU definately better than any of other prebuild brand GPU. Most of all, lenovo let you edit yourself while others problably not.

Use that guide. Also hope you know how to setup gpu as well in the Nvidia control panel.. Put high performance mode on. Turn on performance for quality. Don't have gsync or vsync on 3d mark even tells you it can lower score. Use msi afterburner and OC the gpu. Honestly there's lots if tricks lol

My ram is teamgroup 7200 cl34. So far I'm only running at 6800. I haven't tuned the stock timings like I did before...yet.. I can probably get 7000 if not even 7200 when I put a contact frame on the cpu in a few weeks

Don't mess with the original rams timings. it's Junk. The MB will eventually reset itself. It's only a few fps in games anyways. I wouldn't worry about it. I play at 1440p.

Your link doesn't work. And 96gb why you need that much Ram?

Do whatever your needs are

Does anyone find it weird how this desktop doesn't have a on/off power supply switch?

I found out that undervolt protection is enabled with no way to disable it in the current BIOS. So, no undervolting.

With Xtu you can. But any amount I tried lowered scores and Temps are not a problem for me. Even pulling 245 watt sustained for hours in BF2042 never broke 79c avg.

Whats nuts is using MSI Afterburner and a 80% power limit on the 4090. Still can go +190 core 1k memory. And I only lost 1fps in Cyberpunk max settings benchmark 1440p

Very good 4090gpu here can still hit 28xx clocks with only 80% power. Read around the web lots of 4090s can't do it especially newer models

Anyone know what sort of wattage this draws? I'm planning to use it for gaming and ML stuff. I know the PSU is rated to 1200w, but I'm presuming it doesn't actually draw that even under a heavy load. I'm worried my circuit can't support this and my other laptops/etc.
