I think the one you are referring to was the one from Woot, which is the same controller as this one.

Perfect at this price. Bought one in April, used daily, still going strong.

I picked it up for the assignable buttons on the back and they're a godsend (I usually use them for the LS & RS).

I've only ever owned a retro BT controller from 8bitdo but the quality is great for the price.

Only qualms are that it's wired (duh) but the cable is plenty long enough) and more importantly you need to have a PC to update its firmware — there's a mobile and an Xbox app to adjust settings, setup profiles and reassign buttons, all simple enough.

Difficult, if not impossible to find a rubber grip skin for it. Had to cut out an existing one I had and it fits like a brother's hand me down shirt.

Good budget controller - stick drift lightly on the controller after a month of Apex Legends/Gears of War 5 gameplay.
If you liked wired controllers, this is a must try/get at least once for about $21 not too long ago.
