Found these on sale. Several different blends and pod counts on sale with 20% off S&S order. Know this is the best sale on these pods, but I needed some now and thought maybe others might be like me. YMMV with S&S coupon availability.

A point and a question - please put the count in the title so people can tell at a glance if this is what they would consider a "good deal".

Anyone know if these are truly compostable or just slightly less wasteful than the normal pods? Is the top something other than foil?

So far I have not seen any backyard compostable pods, like most others these are considered "commercially compostable." Now, as long as you don't care it might take years to fully breakdown in your backyard pile the that might not not matter to you. Should not hurt you throwing these in your compost.

I assume the commercially compostable items go through grinders to physically break the items down into smaller pieces to expedite the process.

Best for the environment (for single use coffee makers that is) would be the the little reusable filter housing where you just dump the grounds.

You cannot buy this item because it's out of stock
Another seller might have a comparable offer for the same item. If available, see all buying options and try adding to cart.

Yes, I almost exclusively use a refillable pod for both environmental and economic reasons.

I bought these last time they were on sale and these have got to be one of the worst pods I have ever gotten. Some of the coffee grain residue leak through the filter and it's just a terrible experience.
