Why on earth would you want crappy built in speakers on a monitor? Get decent stand alone speakers or a good headset. This is an actual quality monitor, not some midrange POS.

Got this a while back in a PS5 combo deal back when PS5's were hard to come by (~June 2022). I've overall happy with the screen. There are only a couple issues I've had which are worth nothing:
1. When HDR is enabled in Windows 11 and while playing a fullscreen game, the game doesn't always start up with HDR enabled. Then at a random point, typically while I'm playing a game, the computer/monitor/gpu/something decides it's time to turn on HDR and the monitor turns off and on (similar to what happens when you plug in another monitor to an already running computer and all the screens cycle to adjust to the new layout). Pretty annoying especially when playing online games and suddenly you can't see anything for 10 seconds. It didnt make a difference whether I was playing in fullscreen mode or fullscreen borderless mode.
2. On one of the USB ports on the bottom of the monitor, I would plug various things in there so there was a decent amount of plugging and unplugging. Maybe 3 or so months in, the little blue plastic part inside the usb port broke off. This has never happened to me on any other usb port, let alone usb ports more heavily used than this one. Annoyingly, Dell support said this was not covered under warranty even though I was in the coverage window. While not a huge issue, it was still a big bummer for me after spending $650 on a monitor...

Got this for about the same price awhile back, choose this over oled because its used 90 percent of the time for content creation vs gaming. This screen supposed to have very accurate colors out of the box and professionally color calibrated. If just gaming and viewing content I would go for Oled but if your using it for work, id choose this over oled because of the burn in factor.

they're both gaming oriented monitors at the end of the day.

they're both apples, don't know what you do with your monitors.
Except gaming is not their sole use case and even in delivering it they're completely different. It's like comparing an Audi to a VW. Sure, they're both cars and they'll both get you places, but they'll do so in different ways.

The broken usb tab thing happened to me on a very expensive piece of furniture recently that has integrated usb charging. Like 4500 dollar expensive. Makes me wanna puke.

Has anyone here tried using an LG or Samsung 43' 4k tv as a monitor instead? That would cost around $300 or so which would be $300 cheaper than this.

I always heard you shouldn't use a TV as a monitor since it is a TV. But as long as the TV has that setting for you to change the text to not make it blurry... anyone know the name of it? Then you could use a TV as a monitor?

So wouldn't the only difference between a 43' 4k tv compared to a 43' 4k monitor is you power it on with a remote or something?

I've been waiting on a monitor to use for both work and gaming so I've ruled out OLED as I don't want to deal with burn in. For a 32" 4k IPS monitor that can do 144Hz for use with work and gaming, is this the best there is now? Anything better on the horizon worth waiting for around this price range?

So you're telling me that I'll get to my destination/result no matter which monitor I pick?

Thanks for making my point for me
Like you said, YOURS AIN'T 4K!! What don't YOU get?! You like looking at pixels when you're not gaming, go ahead. Acting like a 4K screen ain't useful/required for someone.

This was the price last year during Black Friday, but there was the amex discount on top which made it juicy.
