Fiskars have a life-time warranty. I would contact their customer service. They sent me a new pair of loppers, a new pair of scissors and the parts to fix my pole lopper. All I had to do was fill out a form on their website and attach a picture.

Paid $11.79 for this about 5 years ago… that was quite a deal. Inflation I guess.

Love my loppers but the orange plastic is cracked causing some minor issues but maybe Fiskars will replace it if I ask.

Have a set of these.. if you don't have them extended already and cutting a large branch, the torque can cause you to twist a handle, which then extends it accidentally. Did this, and the result was damage to the orange slide collar, and that handle no longer locks into place.

These are VERY good snippers, I have been using them for about 5 years. They are as strong as ever, can cut through branches up to about 1", and are lightweight.

The twist-to lock system on the extension arms does not lock reliably, so I finally gave up and drilled a hole through both handles (and locks) and just put a bolt through to keep them extended permanently, but I would still recommend.

I have some like this but mine have little tabs where the handles extend. You pop them out, extend handles, then pop them back in and it holds it tight. They have been flawless for over 10 years and I use them all the time on a large property

They are ok for the price, but the orange bit on the end of the first section can come loose, annoying.

They absolutely will, I got my weed remover replaced by filing out an online form on their site. The process was hassle free.

I have the Power Gear 2 version but I vastly prefer my dad's telescoping loppers. Looking at the hedge shears and leaning towards shock absorbing over the power gear, too. A lot more negative reviews than expected for a Fiskars product. Opinions?
