I tried these. Very disappointing. The pack does not dissolve completely and residue actually caused stains.
I was very close to pulling the trigger, but several of the 1 star reviews mentioned these caused mold growth. Won't take the chance.
in small print: "not a disinfectant or sanitizer"

Hard pass. In times of disaster, the toilet tank is a source of clean drinking water. Don't add chemicals
In times of disaster? How about, "I'm too lazy to go to the kitchen."

Or just check the ingredients and make sure it's compatible with your equipment.

Clorox's products tend to dry out aging rubber, but it's not like it wasn't going to fail eventually.

Luckily, the new gaskets seal better and don't dry out nearly as quickly.

I did not have that issue, but based on my experience, this was a total waste of money. Absolutely of no use and didn't last even half the time they say it lasts in your tank (which is a blessing I guess, based on some of the other comments).

Anything can be use for the toilet ring ? I think my cleaners used harsh scrubber and the ring that never existed, develops within a day now.
Lysol toilet bowl cleaner (blue gel) - squirt it on and let it sit for minimum of an hour.
Overnight and you can scrub the hardwater stains from the bottom of the bowl too.

(source: mom of boys that seem to have an aversion to flushing, I've tried everything. I just bought the Target version of this, havent' tried it yet - hopefully it works the same for less $)

These should be ok. You stamp them in the bowl. But absolutely nothing in the tank

Also, learning how to change gasket, seals, flapper yourself would be a good idea.

Most housekeepers swear by The Pink Stuff. They have a foaming toilet cleaner that you leave in, just like the Lysol.

Apparently the fastest way to ruin a bowl or sink is the powdered Clorox or Barkeeper's Friend.

Both act as etchants, creating microscopic scratches in the glazing that allow debris to cling.

I go through 4 of these in a day. If you're not seeing results, add more. Bought 365 for the year. $1040.25 is a steal for a spotless clean toilet year round. I can usually make them stretch them for ~13 months by using 3x on some days (with lesser poop traffic). Buy (in bulk) now, think later.

I don't know why, but inside the tanks of my Kohler toilets there is a label that states the use of these products may void my warranty.

My parents were about to call a plumber to replace a Toilet Fill Valve. I watched a YouTube video and replaced it in under 10 minutes. Super simple.

You have to know why. It's a tale as old as time. It's covered on the news and in magazines everywhere.
