Clorox's products tend to dry out aging rubber, but it's not like it wasn't going to fail eventually.
Luckily, the new gaskets seal better and don't dry out nearly as quickly.
Overnight and you can scrub the hardwater stains from the bottom of the bowl too.

These should be ok. You stamp them in the bowl. But absolutely nothing in the tank
Also, learning how to change gasket, seals, flapper yourself would be a good idea.

Apparently the fastest way to ruin a bowl or sink is the powdered Clorox or Barkeeper's Friend.
Both act as etchants, creating microscopic scratches in the glazing that allow debris to cling.
