Would've appreciated if you had counterchecked before commenting.

The one you're referring to was the previous Gen model with the 12th Gen processor and non-touch screen.

Any chance to upgrade the memory? How does this compare to the $750 i7 deal a month ago? Thanks.

LPDDR5 is not upgradable. I have so far never seen one with combination of LPDDR and SODIMM. So, the chance of RAM upgrade might be 0.0000000001%, unless you've got the knowledge and skill for soldering chips....

8GB version. I bought the 16GB version that was posted by the same user and it's been fantastic. The battery life is quite decent for a laptop that is a resolution higher than 1080p. I may plan on adding an external GPU to it in the future because it has a high refresh rate screen

The lowest this has been was $499 - it was a one day special. The 16gb variant was $699 at that time.

Do you think we'll see the i7, 16GB version on sale at a cheaper price anytime soon?

Currently kicking myself for not hopping on that deal.

Almost perfect laptop with high brightness, OLED display, lpddr5 ram, brilliant design, thunderbolt support, h series processor, 4th gen SSD, great battery life, except 8gb non upgradable ram and little hot. Great deal overall. Kudos to Asus for this.

8 gb of RAM is plenty for 90% of users… it really just depends on what you plan to do with the laptop. The fast SSD storage on modern laptops has greatly reduced the need for more RAM.
