The original price and even the day to day price on the 'zon are inflated but 23 bucks is a killer deal for this set IMHO. The generic sets linked aren't likely to be in the same ballpark quality wise. I smashed a buy personally. I already have all the tools but a good brand set I can toss in the trunk etc to do a medium size task is always nice. I have a quarter inch no name set that needs the ratchet repaired/replaced so I'm glad at least the 3/8 set will be probably be more reliable in the future.

Apples and oranges IMHO, that's a good set of shallows only in a wider array of sizes common to both 1/4 and 3/8, this is a standard 3/8 sizes in shallows and deeps, you'd pay more for this set even at every day prices, so 13 dollars LESS is a great deal if this is what you want/need.

They aren't comparable. One comes in a toughsystem tray to fit in toughsystem tool boxes. They other is in standard interlocking dewalt tough cases.

This is a great deal and will sell out.
