Which begs the question why is this almost 700 dollars?

This shouldnt even be sold new in stores anymore.

This set is from 2020. I've had the 55" version for 3 years now and it's been great. That said, lacking HDMI 2.1 is a bit frustrating as a gamer given the necessity of you want to do any of the 40Hz modes.

655 is the newer model with more dimming zones and has HDMI 2.1. 655 is the better set but price per performance didn't add up for me.

I use this exact TV in our living room. The motion processing can get a little weird at times but is mostly really cool.

It does 1440 at 120hz very nicely for gaming.

It doesn't really have the brightness to combat direct sunlight. We get a reflection off our west facing front door after dinner and it makes viewing the TV difficult.

Definitely recommend. I've never used it without a soundbar so can't speak to the sound.

Edit confirm this is the 2020 model. I bought March 2021

You're correct about 3-4 years old. I looked it up on rtings and they said 2020.
