Chase Freedom cardholders - 2023 Q4 5% bonus category includes Wholesale stores, such as Costco! Better than the usual 2% with Citi Costco.

Don't forget to activate the bonus, which is valid between October 1 - December 31.

Me either but I let them pick and towards the end it's a bowl full of the herseys ones.
Team up with your neighbors. One set of neighbors can give out graham crackers and marshmallows, and the crazy neighbor puts a fire pit out front.

Is it for freedom or flex? How do you activate in freedom?

I've no excuse for my subpar Costco Coupon Book stalking behavior. Just looked it up - it indeed was... wow. And I swear** I check monthly (even when I don't want to spend... monthly). Welp... hashtag Seppuku it is. At least my kids can manage an Air Fryer without me...

**except for months that rhyme with August.
How do you air dry the fish sticks? Mine always comes out soggy with skin separation

I'm an executive member and purchasing Costco Shop Cards don't qualify for the extra 2% so really it's extra 1% for this who pay with Citi Costco card already. Not worth it.
That's not true. You get the 2% when purchasing items in the store using the gift card as the payment, just as you would when using any other payment method. You just don't get it twice -- when buying the gift card and then when using it.

Just got tires a couple months ago. Was set on Costco then did a lot of research. I still went with Costco but a couple things I found:

Very limited selection but there should be something you are happy with unless very picky.
Very competitive price when on sale.
The tire centers are often very busy so you'll need to be flexible if you want to use the free rotations or have a tire patched. Often they take a long time so hopefully you'll be shopping inside for a couple hours.

Universally, people said that if you have a Discount Tire nearby, just go there instead. For price. For service. For protection plans. (They have something called Certificates and a higher level protection plan. I don't have one near me so I didn't read too much about those options but I would suggest reading before going there.)
Costco by far better than any other retailer for tires. DT Plays too many games.
Unless you have a good friend in the business.
Even then, try hitting them(friend) up for a free tire rotation with balance.

Combine that with hassle free legitimate warranty/damage claims. Even on tires approaching $500.

If you drive alot and/or have multiple cars it's a no brainer.

Even people that work on cars for a living will buy from costco.

Prefect time for wipers!
Friends don't let friends buy Michelin wipers. Seriously the absolute worst wipers I have ever used in my life. If they gave them to me free I would not put them on my car but hey you do you.

Higher temp and lightly spray it with oil. Wait till the color turns golden brown before taking it out and resting it on a rack

If you mean cooked hotdogs in their "food court", you don't need a membership for that.
Yes you do. How long has it been since you went to the foodcourt?

All of this is YMMV.

Around here, there are only 2 Sams in the entire state, the nearest is about a 20 min drive from my home and the other an hour away. Meanwhile I literally drive by BJ's and Costco on my way to work and there are several of each in the state.

You're right though, Costco must purposefully be delaying online shopping as even BJ's (a company 1/10th the size of Costco) allows members to see in-club pricing, has curbside/instore pickup and has ExpressPay (scan as you go and walk out). It's not for lack of funds it's for lack of want.

One of Costco's big schticks is getting you in the club to wander around and buy stuff. That's also supposedly why they constantly move things around, basically to keep you hunting. There might be something said for all this, but I will say that I've picked BJ's over Costco (member of both) for some items because they have curbside or because I can see their pricing in the app. I'm a parent with a full time job I don't have time to go to several stores to price shop every week.
Wow. So it wasn't my imagination! Only had a Costco membership for a year. I've bought a specific kids food item like 3 times this past summer. The last time we went my husband and I both agreed it was on a certain aisle, yet, not there. They'd moved it.
That's insane and stupid.

I know, the age-old argument Sams vs Costco, but I like that Sams can actually be bothered to have signs, AND scan and go is such a smart get-with-the-times thing.
