You can use a cheap lead acid or AGM car battery at first then upgrade to lithium later if you want.
Inverter cost depends on size. 1000w is small and around $150. 2000W and higher will set you back further.
Edit: Wow I read that wrong.
Quality / cost wise Renogy is decent quality. Very popular in van life, RVs and overlanding. The next step up is Victron

It will involve sub panels, transfer switches, etc.
Probably not worth it to power 1 or 2 120v lines using THIS kit.
Hook up battery and inverter off of it and extension cord will get you probably what you are looking for and is going to be more versatile.
Dont buy to try to connect to your home

Their system allows you to add solar to your house in a legal, safe way. It looks like they have equipment that supplies solar power to your house, but if the power coming from solar exceeds the power coming in from the electric company, it reduces or disconnects the power from the solar panels. That way, you are never putting power on the grid, which is where you run into all the necessary rules and regulations associated with traditional solar systems.
