You'd just need the battery with this. And an inverter off the battery if you want 120v.

You can use a cheap lead acid or AGM car battery at first then upgrade to lithium later if you want.

Inverter cost depends on size. 1000w is small and around $150. 2000W and higher will set you back further.

Edit: Wow I read that wrong.

Quality / cost wise Renogy is decent quality. Very popular in van life, RVs and overlanding. The next step up is Victron

Not a good deal. Renogy 100W panels are $80 and a PWM controller can be had for $20.

Better to size appropriately for your roof, leaving space for more later. Get an MPPT controller with some wattage growth headroom. You'll find for an RV about 80% of rated is the max you can pull.

I have been interested in solar for quite a few years, at which time I had a friend who was well versed but also fell out of current info so I can't hit him up. My question is, what would you fine folks recommend for web sites regarding learning the latest info on cost, efficiency, and the tech of the panels in general? If this is too off-topic and gets deleted, I totally understand. Thanks.
