I've had better luck rooting (most plants) by using water and throwing in a pothos cutting. This hormone didn't seem to help much, at least for me.

This stuff works great if you want to propagate your Corpse Lilly (cut off about 6" of the leaf tip).

Latter when you have a giant tuber, it will create little tubers in the pot

does the pothos need to have a stem with a node, or can it just be any trimming?

I didn't bother signing up. It feels silly to signup to just check the inventory.

Alright, I guess all the tissue culture guys are being overly cautious about handling hormones.

If it was too dangerous, they would probably not sell it at Walmart

It was $3 at my SoCal Walmart, and of course I had to pay over $6/gal for the gas to get there, but at least we had the beautiful weather I pay the premium for! Repped.

Never heard of this. I will try it... the pothos seem to multiply quickly around here.

oh okay. just to be clear, you aren't saying you use pothos plants as a type of growth hormone for other plants, right?

Yes, when rooting propagations in water I've had better results when throwing in a pothos cutting as well. It was recommended by an online group, so I thought I'd try it with an Epipremnum Shangri La I was struggling with. Tried with other props also. I'm def not an expert, only sharing things I've picked up along the way.
