Yakuza games are among the only games I can genuinely recommend at full price to almost anyone, they are just all solid. We get 2 new games within the next 4 months as well!

It is. Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2 are full-on remakes while these are just simple remasters.

I've been slowly playing through Yakuza 0 and I'm not seeing what all the hype is about. I wouldn't say it's a BAD game, but it hasn't sucked me in. Really clunky controls and an "open world" that is very limited. The story and characters are interesting, if a bit tropey, but there's a lot of dialogue that seems unnecessarily long winded. I really want to like the game after hearing so many great things about the series, but I'm feeling like it's gotten over hyped.

Hey all games arent for everyone and thats ok! People seem to love the new Zelda games but I get bored as hell. Yakuza shines in its absolute bonkers story along with side missions. The side missions throughout the entirety of the series are just insane and hilarious. The game isnt open world, you are in zones. You can rush through the story or explore and find the aforementioned side content. 0 is a huge game, hell they all are, but at the end of the day, if you are forcing yourself through it, move on to something worth your time!

Judgment and Lost Judgment are also in the same vein, combat is a bit more interesting. Its Yakuza though.

Like a Dragon changes the formula and plays as a turn based rpg. I thought it would be ass, but its great. Its sequel comes out January I believe.
