There isn't anything new from 2020 on, but it's a good sign that Vudu hasn't forgotten about their D2D service, so it might be getting even more updates later this year or next.

I also think Apple has the best compression codec (probably proprietary like Vudu's HDX). I never have issues with pixelization on Apple TV. Nothing wrong with Vudu. The only service I have issues with is Google/Youtube which doesn't give me anything higher than 720p on my Roku TV, even for 4Ks I own.
