I have never bought from them so I can't comment on how trustworthy they are. It may not be obvious to non-collectors so I will just remind people that these are not US mint coins.

There are times you will get above spot even for this. You just have to go to a dealer that follows the market, and can easily tell genuine coins. I see no problem with these types of coins as long as they are from a reputable mint / miner.

Not really. Exchanges trade non-existent silver. Probably trillions of dollars of contracts that are not backed by actual metal. Such a scenario can be easily manipulated.

PMs aren't really much different than FOREX. When you buy or sell currency, you're paying for the transaction either way. So, when you buy PM's, you're paying some sort of premium over spot (usually), and when you sell, no one is going to buy for much more than spot (even if they do go up to spot). This is because every person in a series of transactions is looking for their profit. (also why when going to a foreign country you don't just accumulate a ton of their money because you're going to take a hit when you buy AND when you sell it back).

Gold has uses, but is primarily used to store funds and as jewelry.

PM is not a good investment for returns. Frankly I don't think it's a good hedge against regular inflation. But I do think it is good as a hedge against hyperinflation.

Basically yes. Whether or not something can have value beyond melt (or spot) is really a function of how trusted the mint is, and if it's a numismatic piece. So, most government mints will carry a premium, as will some of the higher end private mints. Otherwise, it's a fungible commodity.

Technically they are, since once they are in your possession you have already handled shipping, and possibly tax.

Like 100 dollars in your hand is worth more than $100 coming to you in payroll.

Just semantics though, really, you'll be lucky to get spot for these.

It is hard for me to purchase these after paying no shipping and no C.C up charge for gold at Costco in the last couple deals.
