They've recently lowered their LIST price from $699 to $599 and dropped the price via sale. If you're in NM or CO, there's a $500 rebate, too.

I'm guessing this is in reaction to Tesla's new Universal Wall Connector (with a built in magic dock to charge NACS and J1772 EVs) for $600: Universal Wall Connector https://shop.tesla.com/product/un...34412-02-D

Still a good deal, though! State of Charge rates it very highly, especially for cold climates.

Check your utility provider, mine offered a $500 rebate towards this unit (and another $500 towards wiring upgrade if required). Without that I'd probably just get the Tesla Universal Wall Charger for the versatility as I don't really trust any of the third-party NACS/J-1772 adapters.

This has been working fine for my Lightning at 40A. The time of use scheduling is great because the scheduling in the truck software frankly sucks. Also great to monitor energy usage which a lot of the "dumb" chargers don't do, if you want to keep track of how much you're tacking onto your monthly bill.
