Hi, I'm the OP. The number on receipt says 9765080 (XR65A80CK). Price paid is exactly $999.97.

Hope that helps. JC

This is the way. It isn't necessarily fair, or wise...but it is the way.

This vs Sony x90k 75 inch at Walmart for 998 (staying 10/9) ?
It's a size vs. tech issue, in my opinion. OLED picture quality is top notch, but you have to worry about burning in/Image retention. LED in the x90k is still really nice, and you don't have to worry about burn in. Consider your viewing content with static elements. My parents have a nice OLED but they watch a lot of sports and news. There's a semi permanent kyron at the bottom of the screen, also a noticeable vertical bar smack dab in the middle from constant two person interviews. If you're mindful, I'd go with OLED all the way. I also wouldn't blame you for the extra 10 inches in the x90k. Don't think you'd regret it either way for that price.

So it is a good deal for $999.97? I am having one left at my warehouse but in 2 minds. After the LG OLED 55" deal on costco (bestbuy price match) for C2 at $512, no OLED deal seems enticing anymore lol
That's an incredible deal you got. Congrats

Geez. I feel bad for all you folks that are complaining about wives versus TVs. My wife is the one that's always on the prowl for TV deals so we can further enjoy our gaming, sports, and sci-fi shows together. I guess spouses, as with TVs, are better when you shop around and get the best one rather than jump on the first thing you see. laugh out loud

Do I need to bring the tv up to the cashier to see if price was marked down? Or will markdowns already be on a sign??
It was marked $1299 on shelf at Wheaton, MD Costco. Rang up at register as 999.97.

Anyone interested in a covert inside job to off my old indestructible LED TV with a hammer? I won't be home from 3 to 5 PM today, I'll slide you a cool 20 on Venmo
My old Sharp won't break either. I can not justify buying a new one until it breaks.

The classic Sharp LED are never going to break. Mine 65 inch is over 13 yrs old, it was $400 floor model playing 10 hrs a day at the store and my house.
They went out biz cuz this tv never does lol
My 32 Samsung CFL lasted 10 yr.

Sharp definitely up there with classic Vitamix/Tiger, Thinkpad/Latitude, Sony CRT, Speedqueen/Whirlpool
