I was going to order a couple of pants, but a lot of reviews state that they are extremely skinny. I wear slim fit but I'm concerned these are going to be too slim.

I've had the entire spectrum of work pants and only the wool ones feel and look the best. Synthetic has a terrible fit usually.

I am 100% om board with you there. I haven't bought a suit from Macys since 2019 which was shortly after they dropped 100% wool suits. Mens Warehouse is my go to right now.

I agree, I wear slim fit, but these so-called skinny are not only ugly, but if anyone has ever hit the gym, these so-called skinny sizes would never fit. I'm not sure for what kind of men they make skinny jeans. Anyone with a decent gym body would never fit into skinny jeans unless they go up at least two sizes.
