Completely different use this is for fideo/sopita and for that it works perfectly, it's the same price at the grocery store though so not in a rush to buy it.

If you want good italian pasta just look for anything bronze die extruded should still be ~$1 at your local grocery store, never get barilla though.

My rule of thumb is $1/lb for pasta. This is $1.10 which isn't bad, but not like it's half price either. Right now Barilla variety pack is about $1.47/lb at club store, so yeah I could save some $$ but for the storage method and small savings it's not a huge benefit for me to buy this.
