has newegg's return policy gotten better? i live about 10 minutes away from MC but i missed the last deal...if something comes up on MC, i would return to newegg and purchase from MC.

What deal did you miss. They still have an i9 combo with a MSI MB and 32GB of ram for $399. Looks like the Gigabyte MB combo is no longer listed now. So MC combo is still better with double the ram for those with a MC nearby.

seems weird to buy an almost 2 gen old CPU at this point, but I also don't like the high temps on 13th gen and not sure if 14th is going to be any better?

yeah the i9 combo deal is sold out at MC for me. I also prefer the Asus mb than MSI mb. Budget is $500 for these components.

Tustin MC doesnt have it in stock anymore..unless the stock indicator is incorrect.
Both deals are for 32gb.

Note that the CPU doesn't come with a heatsink/cooler.. so that's a little bit of added cost.

All reviews I read says the i9 in this combo is ridiculous. Blow CPU Marks out of the park with a 44000+ score! I'm super tempted, but I'm going to hold off for now. Great deal for someone looking for a near top-end setup. Just needs a decent video card and a good (water) cooler for the processor.
