I bought this TV two years ago for $1800. It is not quite the OLED, but most of the time, it would be hard to tell the difference. This is a very good deal.

The 77" oled would most likely be double the price.

This or spend a lil more for a 77" OLED? LG B2 or B3, something like that?
If going with LG, I'd go with the LG LSAB-U325C. It's only " a few dollars more" .

"LG 77" Class G2 series OLED @ BestBuy for 1599.00, sale ****starts 10/15/2023***"
There is no way to confirm this, but I will rack up some sweet reputation points in the meantime.

Hmmm,... the X90CK I purchased from Costco is getting delivered this Saturday. It's $200 more. Cancel the order and save a few bucks? Or stick with Costco since I get the 5-year warranty, not to mention their incredible return policy? Thoughts?
I don't know Sony nomenclature very well. What's the difference between X90K vs X90CK?

In a nutshell, "C" stands for Costco.

That size/model is $3300 on sale at BB right now. There's no way it drops to $1600 - even on BF or for the Superbowl.

If you hold out for Black Friday timeframe, you may come across a B3 OLED for $1700, as that is the price I paid for my B2 last BF. Not quite double, but still a significant price difference.

Wellllll yes but actually no, it supposedly stands for "Club", i.e. places that you have to buy memberships first before you can buy products from them.

Costco is one such "Club", Sam's…. errr Club, is another example, hence why the Sony TVs from there also have the C nomenclature.

I have the 900H and I love it, can't imagine how good this is for the price. I'm tempted, but my 900H is still great.
imagine the x900h without all the glitches... this is IT!

OR pull the trigger next year on the X90L which blows the X90K and x900h's brightness out of the water

Is this good for a bright room?
no it is not good for bright room. Consider either the u8k hisense for a bright room as it is ridiculously bright along with amazing reflection handling.

Still awaiting for the u7k results to publish

I have a Google Smart TV currently and I hated it. I would prefer to buy a regular TV and stick a firestick or a Roku to it rather than using this google crap.

Thanks OP. Will see if it's possible to snag one of these. Great deal. OLED would cost x2 as much for this size.
