I bought this TV two years ago for $1800. It is not quite the OLED, but most of the time, it would be hard to tell the difference. This is a very good deal.
Hmmm,... the X90CK I purchased from Costco is getting delivered this Saturday. It's $200 more. Cancel the order and save a few bucks? Or stick with Costco since I get the 5-year warranty, not to mention their incredible return policy? Thoughts?
It doesn't matter either way. You will regret either purchase and ask people on forums if you made the wrong choice. Buy the one that takes less of your time. i.e the Costco one.
It's the best QLED outside of the x95k and x90l (2023's version of the x90 line) and maybe the TCL QM8. You can make argument for the two MiniLED TVs but they're both artificially boosted by bold colors that look great when watching cartoons and things like that but aren't color accurate at all.
The Hisense U8H and TCL QM8 both get brighter than the X90K but Hisense has terrible QA and customer service as well as motion handling issues, I ignored the warnings and watching sports on my Hisense was not enjoyable at all. I'm a big fan of the QM8 but if you care about color accuracy I could see it throwing you off but it's rated very highly and priced to compete with the x95
IMO: x95 > qm8 > x90 > R646/655 > U8H
Funny you leave out the Samsung QLEDs in your comparison.
I have been following this deal for the last couple of weeks waiting on 10/9/23. Last night this Sony 90K was $1498. This morning it jumped up to $1998. I am waiting on the WM deals to load which should be at 11am CST but can't see WM dropping this TV price by $1K. This could be typical WM BS.

Yeah it's weird that it jumped to 2k. Makes no sense..

Thanks, Azrael_the_Cat!! I kept the Costco one. I think their customer service is unmatched. I'm happy with the TV overall. It's a decent picture for a bright (at times) room.

Guess we'll know shortly.
Edit. It's live. Definitely not expired.
