Our son got this for his 8th birthday. It took us some time to put together but it was a blast.

I wouldn't play with it too roughly, but my kid loves driving it around the living room.

If this price is legit, it's a steal.

What? I built this exact MOC a couple months ago after I purchased the instructions. It required no additional pieces. There were auxiliary instructions on how to use the light bricks if you want that do require additional pieces, but that is it.

My brother got this set for me. It looks amazing. How it was created from the original, I can not imagine. One issue with the instructions I encounteres was that some colors were difficult to distinguish (grey vs. black). I ran out of a certain black piece that was part of the outside of the car and had to find a piece from another set.

This is 100% false. Buying set #42127 in this deal + the instruction set on rebrickable [rebrickable.com] is all you need. I've made it myself and helped a friend build one as well.

Just a feature of the set imo. This happened to me building the set as intended 😅 one of the seats has some grey pieces where black pieces should be
