Has anyone participated in this sort of thing and left Verizon mid-subscription? We're planning on switching in November, I'm not familiar with +play and don't want to pay $75 to discover the subscription dies when we port away.

Same here, called them back over 10 times and Netflix never get's activated. Save yourself time, money and frustration: Don't bother signing up because it won't work.

worked flawlessly for me for nflix + starz.
it says for nflix existing customers, it connects it so nothing is lost and if you cancel the verizon combo deal, it reverts back to your normal payment method on nflix

when signing up, its asking for a service address. Is this the address where I'm restricted to for accessing netflix? If it is, can I change it if I'm moving to a new location in a couple of weeks?

I just grabbed this deal and I didn't have to cancel netflix. Once I signed up on Verizon it said activate netflix account. It then linked to my existing netflix. Got a message saying Verizon is now paying my bill and is no longer billed through paypal. This was a no Brainer!
