Trust me when I say for my fellow lazy folks; you do not want white crocs. Got mine on a post from a couple of months back, and find myself having to clean them like every 2-3 wears. Guess that all depends on what environment you plan on using them (I assume office environments won't have to worry about this) but if you plan on being outdoors with these at all: avoid the white.

Sure, it's possible, but genuine Crocs will have proper hang tags unless they were returned. I don't want returned Crocs w/o hang tags even if they're genuine. If somebody returned them w/o tags then that should be an Amazon Warehouse sale. I won't buy Amazon Warehouse Crocs because exactly what happened - they were counterfeits.

As far as the nubs go, you'd kinda have to feel it to know exactly what I'm talking about, but it was like the inside foam was more rigid than the genuine Crocs and therefore felt like you were standing on a hundred "prickly things" instead of the soft foam foot massaging nubs they were designed to be.

Fad? Hardly. They're the recommended footwear in the medical and culinary industry. In fact, as a medical researcher, I was told by the hospital that I can deduct them off my taxes as work-related equipment. Our physicians also recommend them to patients with mobility issues, especially the elderly, because they're nonslip, durable and maintenance-free. Educate yourself before criticizing others.

I can't answer directly but perhaps this info helps. I just used spray foam insulation on the exterior of our house. The foam dries white. The instructions say to paint the dried foam black if it is exposed to the sun. Apparently, a black exterior protects it from the UV rays by absorbing them so that they don't penetrate in deeper. That seems somewhat counterintuitive because white reflects light and heat whereas black absorbs them. Anyway, according to their logic, black Crocs would be more sun resistant.
