If you are buying oled TVs and relying on built in speakers, you should probably have your head examined.

77" A80K for 1499 is a crazy price. And there is not much difference from the A80L that just came out

If you limit your viewing to SDR during the daytime you may be okay with this TV. SDR is plenty bright, HDR not so much. Even in pitch dark HDR it's not so bright on this unfortunately

Just called all Costco SD locations. Sold out of the $1500 ones. Several locations still have them at $2500. Carlsbad, La Mesa, South East/South Park

Our Costco had the 77" for $1300. They had 3 left and I decided to buy two. Seems like a really great deal.

1900 display model only one left at the only store in my state that has it. 1 drive so I'm not concerned with that but the fact that Costco runs these displays all day every day and it's 1900 instead of the 1500 makes it less attractive to me. Thoughts?
Tough call. Unlike LG, I don't believe you can easily check the hours used. Since this is last year's model, odds are it's been there a while.

But you are covered for 5 years. If you plan on using longer than that, the hours could become an issue.

I thought getting my returned (no doubt Super Bowl purchase) Costco 77A80CJ from a wholesale buyer locally for $1,900 in Feb 2022 was a pretty decent deal. This is awesome with a 5 year warranty. Love the TV!

Maybe electronic prices will finally start falling a bit from pandemic craziness??

If you're up for a little drive, Fort Wayne (IN) had 4 left when I left last night. $1699 with the 5 year warranty.

I assume you own this tv then? In store it seems to look ok, but of course they are pumping through the most vibrant colors possible in that setting, not exactly an episode of Stranger Things. I guess at worst I can try it out and return it... not ideal but doable.

If you like vivid mode or standard then I guess it's bright enough. I prefer the accurate picture mode which is far less bright.

Stopped at the Surprise Arizona Costco as soon as they opened. None in stock, but the employee at the front desk checked other stores for inventory. Two were in stock as the Avondale AZ location, 2 at the Thomas Road (Oak St) location in Phoenix, all at the $1,699 price. Called the Avondale store and the employee had one loaded on a large flatbed cart, ready for me to when I arrived at the store.

The was one remaining at the Avondale location, when I left, around Noon.

Thanks OP!
