I have the previous version of this (the PPBLD100-X; new model is PPBLD100HD), and the primary difference is they moved from two large packs to four smaller ones (slightly smaller and lighter, but it's negligible). The old version charges the batteries at 65W instead of the new 60W (again, not a huge difference). Functionally the same, and I got it for $80 and have been using it for my Steam Deck and ROG Ally for months with no issues. No regerts.

Not at all. They rate Amazon giftcard reloads (only a million reviews) as a D or F. Also Solo Cups, Frosted Flakes, etc can't be trusted either according to Fakespot.

Fakespot says D rating.

How reliable is Fakespot.com these days? Anyone actually used this?

Really nice specs for the price, of note it recharges at 60W AND supports passthrough charging.

Great deal. This is the newer version of the Blade series (just released a few months ago) and probably the lowest price we've seen on em. I'm in for one.

This seems to be a review on this model or similar line.

Wanted to get someone's thoughts on what's the main appeal for this. Is it because you can use this 1 charger for all your devices and not bring your laptop, phone, and tablet charger? Does it mainly come In handy when you need to charge things where you may not have access to an outlet? I'm pretty sure that's it but wanted to get someone's personal experience. Thanks.

Well, no, if you want to do passthrough charging, you'll need your laptop's power brick anyway, so at that point this thing here is irrelevant.

It looks like a nice power bank though.

I have the older model and am on my second one. First one wasn't anywhere near the capacity so they sent me a new one. Buyer beware that the 20,000 mAh capacity is BEFORE electrical conversion losses. The vendor told me the real world capacity was around 12,500. My second unit wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few days and they wanted me to take videos which is when I just decided to stop using this.

When it worked, I loved it! Minus the deceiving 20,000 mAh marketing.

Great price from reputable brand but I hate this form factor.

It works well if you plan on putting it in a secondary pocket of a laptop bag but there isn't a good place to put it in any backpack. Normal form factor power bank fits perfect in the water bottle part of your bag but this is a little awkward.

Same reason I went with the Anker one instead of this despite initially thinking I'd like this flat profile more.

Between only recharging at 65w and getting really hot while charging, I felt the Anker 737 was a better product despite hoping the flat profile would be better. The Anker charges at full 100w which speeds up refilling such a large battery pack by a decent amount.

They're judging the reviews on the product and not the product itself.

FWIW I own a couple Baseus products and would have jumped on this, but a couple of the most recent reviews on Amazon are either DOA or stopped working within a span of a couple days, which makes me a little hesitant on pulling the trigger.
