I have the s8 pro which is a little newer. It has some really nice features. Surround back up camera, night camera, can use all my android apps on it. Android auto works really well. Sound quality is a little sucky with certain apps and radio and phone calls. Could be just settings I don't know for sure haven't taken time too much to fool with it.
. Friggin awesome with YouTube music. Sound is really good through my aftermarket speakers.
Navigation works great, especially Google offline maps. I download them to the sd card in it, really helps out in the mountains.
It does have bugs and quirks though.
I've had it randomly freeze and crash/reboot playing youtube videos.
For some reason it automuffled the sound of calls through the speakers, can't figure that out.
The touchscreen works really well except around the edges. Any app that has buttons around the very edge of screen don't work too well.
Have had some battery drain issues with it.
If the bugs were fixed nothing else on the market would compare.
I would buy this before I would any of the big name app radios, as thry are so limited in function.
