Looks like the cost per ounce is on par with Sam's Club [samsclub.com]. ($14.98 for 24 * 8.4oz => ~7.43 cents/oz at Sam's, vs Walmart's $10.72 for 24 * 6oz => 7.46 cents/oz).

Amazon has 8.4 Oz ones for good sale price, with SS comes out to 6 cent per oz., better than this, or 7 cents per Oz with BIN, still slightly better than this. It's just a matter of where you can add 35 worth for free s&h if you don't have prime or wm+

edit-n/m, I got excited and though it was actual pineapple chunks.
I use part pineapple juice with Dole Whip mix (in place of water). Gives it a little extra zing and natural flavor.

On price alone I agree with you. However, the 8.4oz are often "from concentrate" while the 6oz cans from Walmart seem to be "Not From Concentrate." For the drinkers I buy for, the $0.005 extra per ounce for "Not From Concentrate" is totally worth it.

By comparison, a 4 pack of 8.45oz NFC cans at Trader Joe's is $3.99 or $0.118 per ounce.
