"32 AWG conductor gauge"

Thats pretty thin. Should be 22 or 23 for quality Cat7.

I find it difficult to imagine that a flat ethernet cable, especially one with such thin gauge wire, can possibly meet the Cat7 standard. Of course, for a wide group of users this should perform fine considering no one is likely to be connecting this between two 10GbE ports.

If you need a long, flat ethernet cable this should be an acceptable option. If you're actually seeking a good Cat7 option you'd do better with something else.

Good luck!

i have 50 to 100 ft runs of CCA cat5/5e/6 and they've been working fine with POE for the past few years
no noticeable difference between my solid copper cat 6 when using for IP cameras

Got these in they're awesome cables for $3 each. Don't care what the naysayers here say. I've used similar flat Ethernet all over apartments and houses, under rugs, around baseboards and so forth and never once had any problems! Would I use these in walls or outdoors? Of course not! But for general purpose around the typical place they're great.

Received my cables. Really a very nice cable for the price. Convenient to run around a room because it naturally wants to lay flat.

If you're on the fence, go for it.

I bought one of these last week, it's to run from my router which is located in my living room to my office which is roughly 15 feet away. This works and I'm happy to no longer be using a wifi dongle that craps out regularly. Speeds seem great so far. If it stops working cool I'll junk it, but for 3 bucks I'm very satisfied. Thanks!

Quote from pony :
I keep hearing commenters mention "shielding".

It might surprise you to know, 99% of people here have never seen, used, or owned a shielded ethernet cable of any kind. They are called "STP" or "shielded twisted pair" and have foil inside the jacket. They are rare and are used mostly in commercial installations with heavy megaton construction machinery that you don't have in your house.

All the ethernet cables you've used are "UTP" or "unshielded twisted pair". They just have insulation (which is NOT shielding).
I'm aware. 15yrs of IT under my belt.
The point is that the spec for Cat7 requires shielding, both of the individual pairs, and then all 4 pairs together. This cable doesn't have shielding yet claims to be cat7. Therefore it is counterfeit.
