Yeah. Definitely not for everyone. I just use it at home and still use my old one for texting and mobile data when I go out. If you need a phone immediately, that won't work too well

The only catch there is 6 months unlock period. I had to jump and get this since this would be unlocked in 2 months

I got this phone on the last go-round. Coming from a Moto-G-Power that's a few years old, this phone is noticably faster. It spends quite a bit of time downloading software updates. Currently running Android 12.

I've had this phone for almost a year now. It's great. Big screen. Big battery. It seems fast to me. I've never tried any games though, but all of my apps run well. The camera takes great photos, even in low light. My older tracfones never did that. It's running on Android 12 now. Oh, I transferred my phone number and time from my old tracfone to this new one via the website and everything actually worked this time! (I remember the days of having to fight with tracfone customer service for hours trying to get issues fixed.)

Here's the one really bad thing about this phone... When an OS or security update is pushed to it, I loose my cell network connection! I bought this phone for my mother too, and it happens on both of our phones at the same time. It's happened about 4 times in the last year. It's only after major OS/security updates, not normal app updates. A reboot doesn't fix it. You have to go into settings, network, mobilenetwork, accesspointnames and re-select the APN listed there... mine is VZWINTERNET. It's some goofy bug that should not exist, but at least there's a quick fix for it.

Anyway, even with that problem... $60 for a nice phone and a year of service and some extra talk/data/text is a great deal.

It's fine for drawing, scrolling, keyboard, the basics I guess. I found the editing functions frustrating but maybe it's just me. I have the 2022 and 2023 stylus.

Agreed, I like the phone.
I bought 2 and they are replacing my 5 year old phones.

I think that was a METRO deal and a lot of us couldn't get it to work. Only service for 1 month. But unlock after 2 months. Good deal if you could get it.

Or maybe I'm thinking of something else.
