Here's the one really bad thing about this phone... When an OS or security update is pushed to it, I loose my cell network connection! I bought this phone for my mother too, and it happens on both of our phones at the same time. It's happened about 4 times in the last year. It's only after major OS/security updates, not normal app updates. A reboot doesn't fix it. You have to go into settings, network, mobilenetwork, accesspointnames and re-select the APN listed there... mine is VZWINTERNET. It's some goofy bug that should not exist, but at least there's a quick fix for it.
Anyway, even with that problem... $60 for a nice phone and a year of service and some extra talk/data/text is a great deal.

60 days to unlock - but I didn't care because I just swapped in my Total Wireless, now Total By Verizon, Sim card over. Technically if you do this you haven't "activated" the phone so it won't unlock, but I don't care about that.
