500 watts. Every e-bike thread needs this info in the title (regardless of whether the seller thinks it matters enough for their title).

Maybe OP doesn't know much about shopping for them. So I hope they learn it is important.
Looks like single speed. Deal breaker for me. Have some steeper hills around here.

Read the first review and they say 350 watts.

I just saw that too! In the specs it claims 500 watts. Not sure which is correct, but the benefit of the doubt goes to the specs. It would be a reason for return if incorrectly listed.

But how and you going to prove the watts to return it if it's incorrect?

GeekSquad assembly? Lol. BestBuy is like a flea market. Better options out there if you spend some time to find what fits your needs.

This item might work right for some people but the parts look questionable.

Good luck.

If your question is serious, I don't know how to prove the actual wattage. Maybe someone could with a multimeter?

My guess is that the reviewer may have seen it listed differently in the manual than on BB's website. Where else would they get their number? Too bad you cannot interact with reviewers to ask them.

The SWFT website also says 500. It seems plausible that the reviewer listed that incorrectly at 350. In the paragraph they stated that, its seems like they thought it was a positive that it was 350. Context to me was not negative.

I would consider it okay. 750 is very good. 300-350 is pretty common on the entry-level e-bikes, so at this price point, 500 is very good. Removable battery for charging off the frame is a plus too. You will need more power assistance with fewer gears (only one speed for this one). Hard work on inclines without power assistance. So it all depends on your riding. If this had at least 7-speeds I would consider it. Since it is more of a cruiser style I imagine that is why only a single speed. So I am not shocked, just not so good for me.

What are your thoughts on the bike? Good? Bad? Decent?

Oh yeah completely serious, I'm not sure how your average Joe could tell the wattage difference (without comparing with another ebike) and then prove to the company where it was purchased that it's not using the stated watts without the seller giving some push-back. The reason I ask is because you had mentioned returning it if the wattage is wrong and I wouldn't want to buy a bike that is using less than the stated watts.
