I then login to my EPP account and then logged into my samsung account.
I then added the S23 Ultra 256GB to cart and chose the S22 Ultra as trade
I then clicked Continue (not checking the Tablet bundle).
At the Checkout screen, I then go back and add the Tab S9 Ultra and add the Tab S8 as trade.
I then proceed to checkout and all discounts stick making the Tab S9 Ultra $0.00.

This seems like a really good deal for folks who only have a Tab S8 or S8+ and wanted a Tab S9 Ultra.
For me, I've been happy with my S22Ultra 256GB but I'm hoping the S23Ultra has a better battery life.

my order was a S22+ and Tab S8 for a S23 Ultra and Tab S9 Ultra for $374 before tax.. the only issue with my order is that CA tax is on the full amount, which is something like $2,000+ so it makes the deal lukewarm for me. but still better than most recently deals
the only thing that would beat this is if bestbuy does the inflated trade in value + sales pricing, which made the deals last year really good. except that you had to do it in store and it was very YMMV because there were some gatekeeper salesmen that just didn't want to help with discounts
that deal for the S22 series started in august 2022 so it doesn't seem like they're doing it this year.. for now anyway
I am still contemplating whether I need this deal or cancel it later. I am OK with my S22 Ultra, but the battery life isn't great and heard S23 Ultra has a way better battery life.
My tab S7+ is now more 2.5 years old and the battery life seems to have some degradation, so upgrading to S9 series makes sense, but this deal only apply onto the S9 Ultra which may be too big for me. Tab S9+ is the best size, but i will have to pay additional $150 (I think) on top of the $104, seems weird Samsung only do this special bundle on the largest Ultra instead of the "+" version.
This is a super deal if I don't consider the sales tax, this killer sales tax of $150 really make decision harder. Anyway, I have submitted my order, i will think through it later if i want to cancel it.
That said, this is totally your decision/gamble/risk if you decide to not include the S-Pen. If you do want to take the risk, I suggest getting it documented and make sure to get a ticket number. We've all worked with Samsung support and they can be a pain in the butt.
