I was hoping for a plain simple black G10 I can't get past the different colors and patterns everywhere. Keep up the great knife posts!
Understood. It's actually a decent knife. The "white" parts are more like grooves within the G-10, so you can actually use it to get a better grip. Still, I know some peeps just like the plain. Will try to keep posting. If I see them, I usually try to share. Have a great day,
GREAT deals! I got the Original in the Black/white "Tuxedo" G-10 same price last year, and been my lightweight EDC backup to my bugout. Never liked the white more-so on the sides of the scales tho, was going to RIT dye it all black or something, but just picked up this Richlite version instead, thx! ALSO best price on a Cormorant I've seen period, been waiting for this one for a while, so many methods of deployment makes it very appealing on paper at least. I've seen them around $80 several times, never this deeply discounted. May have to RIT dye those too

First button lock, couldn't resist esp. with a Amazon gc burning a hole in my pocket. I wonder if my collection will increasingly resemble JMBauers over time lol

You'll enjoy the button lock. They're fun if you just get bored and want something to fidget with. If you see GrandmasterBBC in here, his collection probably exceeds mine. I post a deal and half the time he already has it.

the cormorant is a phenomenal knife for specific users. i can carry a knife at work and need one, but i don't want to draw attention with any kind of flipper which looks like an auto to a lay person. the button press allows the blade to swing free, which then allows you to open at whatever speed you need for the situation. and it locks up very tight. it also can be used as a regular flipper, and it is s25vn steel. fantastic choice, I'd highly recommend and I have quite a few good quality knives.

Haha you know me so well! Yes I do have the black & white G10 version. I'm not in love with the color combo so it is on my list to Rit dye at some point. I ordered the richlite version today. That's more my flavor. Fantastic small and light EDC.

I bought the black and white last time. I wasn't thrilled when looking at the picture. In person it looks way more classy and ended up using it a lot. Always been a flipper person but man that button lock is fun. Ordered another spare and to gift.

No surprise. Also, got that Mig today. Actually really like the design. The thumb stud rests well on it and it's also a front flipper. When I'm opening it, I just use the stud as an assist. As far as use, I think it's a solid EDC. It has very good weight for its size and the did a good job on the blade finish. For the price, there's really nothing I dislike about it.
Just a thanks to all for their expertise on a subject I know little about, other than the convenience of having a good knife around for daily activities. Bought the cormorant for my EDC based on the thoughts above.
