Supposedly won't work with any bundle console, only standalone base ps5 systems.

Who would buy a PS5 now, knowing PS+ is gonna cost them $80/year!? I never would've bought mine had I known Sony was gonna go full-greed on us like that. But of course that was all part of their plan. Never again! I've been loyal to PlayStation since launch day in 1995 but I'm done now. RIP Sony

Same, I've had every gen console since original PS. I had buyers remorse with this gen 5. Lack of browser, the nickel and dime'ing of every game, the inability to play games offline (we have slow dsl), and the requirement to transfer every game to the HD has really turned me off of future Sony products. I still have and will keep my PS4.

I bought one knowing I don't give a hoot about PS+ and so it doesn't affect me.

I have a PC for the games I want to play with others.

I got my PS5 2 weeks ago. I talked to a PS agent yesterday via PS website chat functionality. Pleading my case and trying to get a redemption code or something. They told me there's not such promotion and abruptly ended the chat. Weird.

Anyone else in my boat? Y'all been able to get through with PS and gotten a code/credit?

I've owned a ps5 for a year now but a buddy of mine just got his and had this email. It would seem that this "upgrade program" was an invite only kinda deal to entice people to upgrade their consoles. Probably to get rid of old inventory.

I actually bought a new ps5 when GameStop was having in a trade in deal and the price on the ps5 was $450. Maybe about a month ago

I'll see if my nephew has an offer, he activated his last month

Yikes man but yeah ps tech support can be hit or miss but yeah most of them don't know some promos going on

My friend bought a ps5 1 day before the ps collection were deactivate, he claimed all the 20 games and the banner did not show up for him. Another friend bought a ps5 this month and the banner showed up. I believe it is related to the accounts that did not claim the ps collection.
